The Russians push across the entrenchments. The Janissary reserve advances and forms into line. Can they arrive in time to knock the Russians back?

Ottoman heavy gun section and Sekhans await the Russian assault.

Russian Grenadiers, breach the Ottoman mini-fort on the Ottoman right. Nothing is going well for the Ottomans on the right flank with all their cavalry routed or destroyed by Russian Cossacks.

the Janissaries advance and deliver point blank fire into the Russian attackers

Guard Janissaries smash this Russian unit. All Russian units that crossed the walls are now either routed or destroyed by Janissary fire. This ended the day's battle. The Russians are now regrouping and will launch a 2nd (and hopefully final) assault against the Ottoman positions. This 2nd assault will be just infantry and artillery as all the Ottoman horse has abandoned the fortress and headed for safety.
